The annual Artist´s day was wet and delightful
The Elf Garden had its annual Artist´s day on August 1st. It was delightful with many artists working in Hellisgerði Park. Musician Inga Björk Ingadóttir playing her lyre and singing and Elaine Ní Cuana playing music on her irish bagpipes "Ulleann". A group of youngsters from the Waldorf school in Freyburg, Germany did a beautiful dance honouring the nature beings by the fountain and Melkorka Freysteinsdóttir sang a beutiful acapella. The weather was a bit wet but people enjoyed themselves.
The little Elf Festival was a delight
The Elfgarden hosted once again the Little Elf Festival on 22 of June. The weather was beautiful and a lot of people attended. There was a great program with musicians Bergljot Arnalds and Audunn Luthersson and a comedy visit by the extremely funny Teenagers, Arnor and Oli. The program started with an enchanting moment by the elf church in Hellisgerdi Park where singer/songwriter Bergljot Arnalds performed a new song with lyrics made by the elf woman Tamina. If you click on the picture of Bergljot you can hear the song.
